It actually showed up way faster than I thought it would, which was nice. Still, after the earlier confusion, I was kind of expecting an apology or at least a quick acknowledgment.

The color looked a little different than what I thought from the photos. It’s not bad, just not exactly like pictured, if that makes sense.

I found what I needed quickly, which is what I expected since these sites are usually simple enough to navigate. The payment part did lag a bit though, which just confirmed what I already figured, checkout is usually where things slow down. Still got it done, just took a little longer than I wanted

I do like the whole refill idea, and it feels a bit better than tossing out an entire lipstick every time. The case is nice-looking too, so I can see why they made it this way, and maybe it cuts down on waste more than I realize.
That said, swapping the refill was kind of fiddly for me, and the refills still don’t feel especially cheap. The shade I wanted was also out of stock once, which made me wonder if they’re still figuring out the supply side. It’s a nice concept overall, just not quite as easy or seamless as I thought it would be

I’ll admit, I wasn’t totally sold on the refillable packaging at first, but it’s actually nice. Ordering was easy, and it feels better buying makeup without tossing out a bunch of extra plastic every time. Kind of annoying that it took me this long to appreciate it, honestly.

I ordered from La Bouche Rouge and, I don’t know, it just felt really luxe when it showed up. The packaging was beautiful without being over the top, and the lipstick has this nice weight to it that makes it feel expensive in a good way. It’s definitely pricey, so I’m not totally sure it’s something I’d buy all the time, but using it does feel kind of special.

I emailed them with a simple question and didn’t hear anything back, so I had to follow up again just to get a reply. They were polite once they finally responded, but the whole thing felt really slow. There was basically no follow-up on their end, which was frustrating.

I liked the products and they seemed good overall. At first I was impressed, but then I saw the prices and was like, okay never mind, that’s a bit much for me

I picked up a lipstick from La Bouche Rouge and, the color is really pretty. Like, no complaints there at all. It goes on smoothly, feels nice on the lips, and the packaging is definitely giving luxury, which I always appreciate even if I pretend I don’t care.

That said, for the price, I kind of expected it to stay put a bit longer. It looked great at first, but after a few hours it had faded more than I wanted, and I found myself reapplying sooner than I thought I would. Not the end of the world, but still, you notice it when you paid that much.

So overall, it’s nice quality, just not quite amazing enough for me to be obsessed. I don’t regret buying it exactly, and I’ll use it, but I’m also not rushing to buy another one anytime soon

I mostly wanted to talk about the packaging because it looks really clean and pretty. The box feels sturdy, and the design is simple but still classy. Nothing over the top, just really well put together. I actually kept the packaging instead of tossing it, which I almost never do. So yeah, whoever runs this clearly knows what they’re doing.
